New RX-8 owner

Hello all. I have been a member of the rx7club forum for several years owning a 3rd gen rx7 and today I get to join the rx8club as I just picked up my new rx8 this afternoon.

I was able to purchase one of the 40th anniversary editions in Metropolitan Gray exterior color with a Cosmo Red leather interior color scheme, and I think it looks absolutly amazing.

I would post some pictures but I was visiting my mom in the nursing home and left the camera in her room so I'll be picking that up tomorrow.

Look forward to the boards.

Jonathan

according to my budget/parts/spreadsheet the 20b should be done in oh about 3-4 years lol. I'm trying to do as much as I possibly can myself and the budget is for the wife as she will kill me if I went dropping large amounts of cash on a car that she isn't overly fond of in the first place.

Sweet! Didn't know if I would like it but that interior looks great and go's with the exterior paint perfect. Dig the wheels too.

What's that silverish circle just to the left of the glove box in pic 6???

its the passenger airbag indicator, not silver just looks that way I guess from the angle and glare of the flash

well they call it red but in actuallity its more of like a burnt orange color

Appreicate the compliments, I don't think the pictures really do it justice especially the paint. When the sun is hitting it, it has amost a blue look to it.
