Hey all,

The dealer in which I plan an '05 8 from next week called me today saying that Mazda has recalled the RX-8's due to a longer idle than usual that was found...? Has anyone else heard this? The dealer said they are not allowed to sell any new 8's until they inspect the vehicles. Mazda is to send inspection instructions next week.

So if I wanted to buy an 8 right now, they couldn't do it. Role reversal eh?

 

well all 8s built before a certain date, yes. there is a thread in the issues and problems section which you would have found with a search. thread closed.
