New RX8 Onwer!!!
9am tomorrow I will officially be an owner of 2004 RX8!!
My choice was between the G35 or RX8
Hands down the RX8 pulls major rank with looks!!
Any advice to a newbie would be Great!!
I am located in Montreal Canada and we just had a Major snow storm I viewed enough post to realize that the RX8 is a death trap in winter,,
I just purchased 18" yokohama 225/45/18 Winter Tires.
The car is Sun-Silver Fully Loads with GT Package
Future Mods: Endless :D

Congrats from an ex-Montrealer.
You made the right choice. 2 pieces of advise:
1) avoid the bloody potholes all over the highways in Montreal and especially the on and off ramps in St Laurent and the West Island. Its brutal!
2) Try to avoid driving in snow that has accumulated higher than the bottom of your car. It can become a bitch to get out of. Therefore learn to start in 2nd or 3rd with traction control off when the snow is deep and then when your rolling, turn it back on.
Enjoy my friend. You will not be able to get enough of driving it. Guaranteed.

Welcome to the cult!! :D
Advice :
- Always ensure the car is warmed up nicely before driving. Never allow yourself to drive the 8 cold and for the love of God, don't cold start and shut down cold. This will cause a potential flood.
- Surf and learn!! This forum/club will teach you so much about your 8.
- High octane gas. Do yourself a favour and feed your baby only the best.
Good luck!!

Welcome! Congrats! You'll probably want to do a search for "break-in" and spend some time in the Show & Shine area for some new car detailing tips. There's extensive info for new car owners.
