hey guys i just recently bought a rx8 i had an sti had to get rid of it cause i had to move outta my house so i got a toyota truck hated the thing so just traded it in for a 2004rx8 its alot slower than the sti but i love the rx8 so fun to drive... now what are some of the more popular basic bolt on mods to make it a bit quicker thinking of doin exhaust but i dont really wanna loose the factory sound cause i love it. any exhausts out there that arent too loud but still keep that exotic sound( really no other way to describe it)?? any help is appreciated

Congrats on the 8 and welcome to the club. Use the "search" engine for exhaust and FI mods. There are tons of threads on these particular ones.

Congrats, I owned an evo 2 cars prior to my rx8, and while its certainly not as fast I agree that it is as much fun to drive if not more. The sti is a fine car though, I always wished I had gone that route instead of evo.

Welcome to rotary bliss.

Congrats and welcome, I have the Rev8 on my car and like it a lot. It's quiet while cruising and gets a nice deep tone as the revs get higher. It goes with the car..good luck!

Welcome and congrats. Please add location to your profile.
None of the exhausts are going to add power but Racing beat will sound pretty mellow.
One great mod is the Axial Flow short shifter.

new rx8

Congrats on your new rx8. I just got mine 3 weeks ago and am also looking to upgrade my exhaust. Search the forum. It is loaded with dyno charts and sound clips.

Congrats and Welcome. The Search button is your first friend made, use it. Other than that, let the addiction begin.
