How do you get through the buying/financing process without knowing what year or model your own car is? You have to tell the bank exactly what it is to secure the loan... title it, get insurance on it. You're relaying that information every step, and probably saying it in your sleep by the time it's all said and done.

There are many many many things you can do to mod your car.
Unfortunately, most of they are REALLY terrible ideas. The "good" ideas are all related to tweaking the suspension a bit better, getting the ECU tuned, and reliability related items to help the engine last longer.
Again, we will respect you far more for a stock 8 that you keep in top shape than we will for mods, especially if it's mods that you do based on "suggestions and ideas" from other people.
You also bought an R3. They are going to end up as collector cars at some point, so modifying it will significantly decrease it's value. I'd recommend against that.
