My car has about 7K miles on it, but they've been sqealing since I hit about 3500. Bugs the living crap outta me - sounds like I'm back in one of my crapeater pontiacs from the 90's.
I don't think I'm hard on my brakes. I've driven a manual most of my life and tend to do most of my slowing by gearing down (not hard, of course) and the dealer did say there was very little wear on my brakes just last month.
I HATE CAR NOISES THAT SHOULDN'T BE THERE. I once traded a car because the darn glove compartment wouldn't stop rattling!!

If I remember correctly the TSB is good till 36K. I brought mine in for a oil change today and told them how it starts slow. I will look to see if they do the TSB for that. The service writer said he would take care off it......

Got the oil change and filter. They did do the TSB. I looked and saw new bat,starter and leading plugs. It is a TSB that you can feel the good changes! My brakes can wait only 28k on them. Still have not had to pay for any service on this car, glad I was a pre-order.
