I had a Tib before getting my 8 over the summer, and I was a regular on newtiburon.com. I didn't post a whole lot, because like most others said, it was a very Civic-esque community. It was a decent place to find out about new mod options, but that was about it. Lots of dumb stories about illegal street racing and dick waving.
There's no way a stock Tib is faster than a stock 8. The Tib pulls nicely off the line, because the V6 has a decent amount of torque, but after that it loses steam. There's a huge notch in the power around 3300RPMs, and the power dies out completely at 5500. I would never go back to the Tib. It was a fun car for a while, especially with the suspension mods I had, but it was definitely a FWD sport compact, not a real sports car.
