I also loved the Caymen but it was out of my price range.
After owning the BMW for almost two years, for my next car I want one that is lighter but still has the correct ride/drive/handling characteristics. I am leaning toward the redesigned 201? RX ?. It seems Mazda still believes in light weight, as the BMW grows in that area.
Hopefully, we will know soon. Or a new contender might surface. But for now my hopes lie with a totally new RX.

No, but you did say they are the "only two cars that handle and have ride/characteristics that you can live with" That's a pretty broad statement. So pretty much every other car either handles well or has a good ride, but not both. Then you go on to say you loved the Porsche but was out of your price range. So, it's not that it didn't have the ride/handling that you can live with, it was a matter of $$$$$. So there are others out there it's just that...........oh, I give up. I'm going to read the Facebook RX8 vs. S2000 all over again. Just incase I missed something the first time.
