I agree with Rotarygod...it's going to happen eventually. At least we can all say that the RX8 is the first one to have both sides with "suicide" doors the rest are just imitators.

does that car come with 50:50 weight distribution? does it rev to 9500rpm? is it lightweight? i think i prefer the original mazda RX8. It's better looking!

Other than the suicide doors, all I see is a copy of the Chrysler 300.

Shouldn't this be in the General Automotive forum?

That car is sooooo ugly...... When it came off the assembly line, the production worker slapped the designer.

I think it's Japanese pretty (Including the color) in a Eunos Cosmo kind of way. The styling more fits their market than ours in my opinion.

Needs clear corners; that fixes everything as everybody knows. Don't these so-called designers know anything?

This car has so many "me too" elements to it it's nauseating. What happened to the good old days when car companies took pride in making their cars look different from their competition? That's one of the things I like about Mazda, and especially the RX8; it's a great, original design and no one would mistake it for another manufacturer's car.

word up. the rx-8's originality is a big piece of what makes it alluring to me. i think more car companies should be designing to set themselves apart from the rest. maybe they feel like making too large leaps in design will scare off a lot of buyers (who for the majority probably ACTUALLY WANT to "fit in")

imo mazda is doing a good job of creating a family look within their lineup that is also unique.
