Uh, wrong person. You gotta see who is saying what. Best bet is to look at which name is on the top of each post. It is useful information.

Escort 8500 X50 is way better. Doesn't have the worthless directional display of the Valentine, falses less and picks out LASER miles before the V.
I have both and I'm gonna E-Bay the V to get another Escort for the other car.
The Escort consistently gets better ratings in all of the car mags (until V gets into their pockets).
The Escort is more modern and better priced.

List goes on and on. Some like the Bel even better, but I don't have any experience with it.

The V1 is just out of date and over sensitive to the "K" band, which is virtually unused these days.

Thanx, MazdaManiac. Truth be told, the V "used" to be the best detector on the market with a lot of wanna-be's posing that did you no good. I gotten so used to the V, it is a natural part of my reactions................

But I'll take your advice and follow the links you provided, thanx again. After all, I'm not gonna get all hot and bothered by someone giving better advice on this most important topic.........................

So, you didn't say this in reference to MY assertion that the facts are that "most" people don't do 25 over?

But hey, what you DID say is corrrrrrect, with a slight change:

"Best bet is to look at which name is on the top of YOUR OWN posts. It is useful information."

Unless, of course, you were AGREEING with me... In which case your point was better hidden than a Russian sniper.
