No Stoneguard?

No Stoneguard?
Has anybody been rollin' without a stoneguard?
I had a partial stoneguard suspended by nylon strings that the dealer ripped out when i took it in for a clutch repair. They didn't replace it.
I guess I'm vulnerable to stones hitting my radiator and stuff? Any other possible issues without a stoneguard? They're too damn expensive!!

i think your talking about the undertray, right?
the stone guards run under the doors of both sides of the car. if you are talking about stone guards then you dont need them, i took mine off and sold it for $40 a long time ago when i had to put my side skirts on.
if your talking about the undertray then i would say you do need it, and go back to the dealer and have them reinstall it.

I think he's talking about the screen that goes in front of the AC condenser. My '06 cme with one, not as nice as the aftermarked ones, but it's something.
I didn't think they were that expensive. There may be a DIY on making your own...I remember at least one on making screens to protect the oil coolers.

http://racingbeat.com/FRmazda4.htm Put screen set into the part number search on the top left. Those work really well.

I actually mean part number F151-56-110C.
This is the large black plastic piece that sits in the center. It goes by varied names. Its about $130 new. Hard to ship bc of size.
there is nothing between the road and the radiator right now.

So you mean the undertray.....check with Mazmart as they will have one cheaper than the dealer. It's a pretty damn important part. If you think $130 is expensive then try a new a/c condensor or radiator.
