No tire pressure sensor light (TPMS)

Hello guys,

I installed lately my new winter tires without any pressure sensor in them. I was expecting to have a light in my dashboard but no warning light. Is it normal? I am not complaining but I am just wandering if the system is working correctly.

Thanks.

What counrty are you from? Not all RX8s get sensors.
For example, Canadian spec cars do not get them.

I noticed my TPMS light has been coming on lately since the colder weather has came...it usually stays on for about 5-10 minutes and comes off once my tires warm up.

no they dont or the light wouldnt come on. you have to check the PSI when they are cold. then add the amount of air needed. if you wait until you have driven then they warm up and you dont get a correct reading.

I had a similar concern when I put on my winters. I went over a week without seeing the light. I'll bet you aren't taking any long drives huh?

Yeah, liquids wise I would never not trust the light. Also, I add oil every so often once it gets a bit low.
