Noob questions

I'm lookin into purchasing a 06-07 black GT manual before the 20th of Dec... Since I'm out of the country in Argentina I am unable to go down to my local dealer and find the answers to these questions myself. Figured ya'll could help: I tried searching but 56k internet here in Argentina is FTL and slightly slow.

-Do the windows and sunroof have one touch operation? Both auto up/down? My Type-s simply has driver side. Sunroof I must hold down. Along with passenger side.

-Are RX-8's able to open up the front doors from the interior even if the doors are locked? For example. My type-s. I can be coming to a stop and either me or my gf will attempt to get out of car and since we lock the doors as soon as we get in they remain locked and we dang near break the handle off thinking its like my Jeep Wrangler. So we must unlock door, then grasp handle, then step out. Not good if someone was to ever go off a bridge into some water and happened to remain conscious yet the electrical system was knocked out. You'd literally have to reach back in an rsx and manually lift the lock/unlock bar that sits on the far rear side of the door.

-Is it true that you can choose between a red or a blue gauge display? If so is this with all year models?

-Is it true that the headlights are self leveling. Much like the BMW's? If so do they self level when going up a hill or down a hill?

Does anyone have a link to show the differences in year changes? I can imagine there is one on here I've just been unable to give searching much of a chance.

Rumor has it that the 06 shinka has the following:
Shinka Shift **** (manual only), Sand/Alcantara interior, polished headlight and tailight trim, urethane filled crossmember...
Does anyone know if there is a big difference in the head/tails if they are polished -vs- a non shinka head/tail lights?
Thanks... fellas I hope to join your ranks soon. I come back to the states on the 16th.

1. sunroof/moonroof = 1 touch to open all the way.. tap it to just vent it
drivers side window is only 1 touch window
passenger you have to hold down

2. if doors are locked they are locked from interior

3. dont know answer to the gauge question. mine is red

4. not self-leveling. HID convert and doesnt matter as the beam is much higher intensity and bigger beam

5. not much changes between model years. just a year later off the production line for the most part. a few color options added each year is really about it.

There are two, selectable, gauge colors, but I can't remember how to change them. I prefered the red anyway.

The HID headlights are self adjusting on start up, but not self-leveling.

They're either white or red. And the selection **** also turns the headlights on for some reason.

correct. but as i was stating the size and intensity of the bulbs make up for it not being self leveling

When the dash intensity is set to max the gauges are white. Anything less than max, they are a combination of red with blue accent. The drivers side window is auto down only. The passenger side is not auto either up or down.

D'oh. Yep, that's right. And I should have rememebered as I generally run with 'parking' lights in the daytime, which requires switching to max intensity to see the gauges well, esp. the digital mph/kph.
