Not one R X 8

I just drove ( not in the 8 ) from Northeast Ohio to Miami and back. Did not see a single 8 in 2500 miles and 40 hours driving.
I really like that the Mazda RX 8 is rare and special.

Exactly my experience, too—and I'm in the densely packed "Northeast Corridor"!

I think alot of people see that this car has a 1.3L engine and just look at other cars, they missed the fact that this is a wankel engine, its not piston, at least thats why most of my friends have reacted when i told them about my car.

In Orlando area, I actually see alot of Rx8s, in fact, i saw 2 today.

When I lived n SoCal, I'd see at least a few every week. I've only seen 4 or 5 total since I moved to Connecticut last July....

Why don't you see more 8s? Because, on the one hand, it's not a truck, an SUV, or a boring sedan, and, on the other, it doesn't scream snot-nosed brat or "where's my Viagra prescription?"

If it's a good day I will see 1-3 max. Glad I'll make it 2-4 when I get mine.

Yeah I never see any RX8's in my area. There is only 3 in my county but one of those is at a dealer. There's mine and some old woman about mid 60's that has one. It is a very special feeling knowing that you are of a "rare breed."
