Canzoomer, odd your friend's GS has different mats. I have a RX8 logos on my mats. Same mat, no pin was supplied according to my dealer, but it wouldn't line up even if it did exist.
I now pull my mat at least twice in my short drive to work and home. I've actually had it stuck under my clutch hampering it from going all the way to the floor.
It seems like the mat doesn't even fit in the car properly to begin with!
I'll have to call the dealer, I called last friday and they had not received any mats.

It's kind of funny.
I have had no problem with the mat slipping on the drivers side, but the passenger one is always sliding forward.
I will probably sew on some velcro tabs on the carpet and mat to solve that..

Did anybody install the floor mat clip themselves? Does it require the driver's seat to be removed. (instructions please) I don't mind doing it myself cuz the techs at the dealer, well, I just don't trust them. (they couldn't even put the car in reverse when iI took delivery)

The dealer had left the floor peg in the glove box.... I finally got a chance to install it a week ago. (between drives!)
I found that it helped to scoot the drivers seat all the way back and then shine a ::BRIGHT:: light underneath so I could see. (careful not to light your hair on fire).
There is a screw that can be fit with a short crosstip screwdriver (and I do mean short).
I have the MT and Grand Touring package (more of a challenge with the seat position motors underneath)...and last I checked, I am not canadian. (so it would be the US mats if there is a difference.)
