Besides poor fuel economy, lack of space, and poor reliability; nothing. I had two RX-8s and at the time it seemed like a great idea. If she doesn't commute long distances, can handle her own maintenance, and you don't have small children go for it.

If you're worried about fuel economy don't get an 8. It has more room than almost any sports car in its class. Poor reliability due to lack of care/maintenance.

There isn't anything wrong with have a couple of 8s in the family. The more the merrier, in my opinion.
