Observed-new RX ? convertible!
Fri- 9/9/05 at automotive desert test track (Queen Creek, AZ) there on other business, observed was a cross between MX5/RX8-2 door-rotorary powered/2 seat roadster- Having its airbags qualitiy proof tested (heat/dust)- I asked what it was- answer was- some new kind of Ford product- not buying it- I'll bet we will be seeing the return of a 2 seater (ala rx7) in convert form, in a couple years.

That would be cool, there has been no hard news on this though. Part of me thanks you for the news, part of me curses you for not taking a minute and a bit of reasoning to look around the car...a quick inspection would have found a lot of information...BTW, GET A CELLPHONE...they all have camera's now.
Thanks for the heads up...could this be the SS suprise coming up?

with all the people bitching at mazda for having the return of the rotary not being HARD CORE enough....i think if they did come out with another RX7 or a new RX9 that was made to be a lightweight, fast, 2 seater.......the last thing it would be was convertable.
