OBX Exhaust

Ok I decided to be another one to test the OBX catback exhaust. The exhaust has a very nice sound. Better than I thought. It does sound alot louder when the pipe is cold but once it warms up it sounds alot better and quiets down. However I did not get any hardware but I don't think that is OBX's Fault because there was huge holes in the box it was shipped in by UPS. Other than that if you were looking for a good priced cat back exhaust system definately reccommend. Sorry for the length just thought it would b helpful for whoever was interested.

Nobody gets hardware with it unfortunately.

I just saw this today, and am very interested. Is there any way you could post pics or a video?

I posed that very question in the original thread located in the aftermarket performance section.

Yeah my car is actually parked at my parents house for winter so the next time i get home I will get some pics and hopefully a video up. Yeah I heard that it was a copy of the Borla exhaust. It sounds really good also looks good too I'll get some underbody pics and hopefully a sound clip or 2.

How much louder is it? Annoying/get pulled over loud? loud only when you get on the gas?

I've been considering getting one, but just want a little more racey tone on the outside.

I think I remember reading it was a copy of the knightsport system.

Well when it first starts up and the pipe is cold it's a little ricey sounding for a few minutes till the pipe warms up then it sounds real good. A roar but not too loud for an interstate trip. I just drove like 20 miles but it sounded good when I was hammering on it and really not that loud at idle. For the price i don't think u can beat it.

wow, $200 for the obx header and $300 for the obx exhaust. cheap as all hell. but if they're ripping other people off, there's no r&d on their part.

tempting. the header anyway. very blingin. i hate huge tips on exhaust though.

They are not too much bigger than stock. For 500 for complete system is not bad. I didn't buy the headers so I'm not sure about them. I like the cat back though if you're looking for a cheap cat back system i'd def go for the obx itsn not bad other than not getting hardware but I had the hard ware except for the gasket at my house.
