not to trivaliaze this fire. but its really nothing compared to the fires in greece a few months ago. hundreds of villages and square miles looked they had just gone through a nuclear holocaust. at least 60 dead.

global warming ftw. the world is going to hell. each year, the weather is worse.

if we dont take drastic action, we will be approaching the point of no return. and each year that goes by it gets exponentially harder to clean the world up.

i do my part by using an rx8 to commute to school.

:P

(i do a lot of environmental stuff because i feel bad about it)

My brother is actually out in San Diego. He said that his area is on standby and that if the fire crosses the expressway near them, then they'll be told to evacuate.

The fires are putting more pollution in the air than all the cars in So. Cal for a years worth of driving.

No kidding man, you could barely recognize that car..

I hope that guy had some decent insurance.. He'll be alright if he did. And I hope this wont be a situation like NO where the most likely to happen disaster isn't covered by most peoples insurance policies..

Why does this thread exist again? Throwing out some love for all the poor and burnt RX8's out there? Should we call bono? Kinda silly to mention when people are loosing all their personal belongings or worse, no?

I was just asking people about some suggestions and thoughts about intake problems that might occur if ashes got into them. I understand that other people have incomparable problems than I do, and I do hope for the best in their situations. I was just curious, trying to learn more about cars, didn't mean to sound ignorant
