Odd CEL behavior with RP superCAT.

Odd CEL behavior with RP superCAT.
Okay so for the past few weeks ive had an intermitted CEL light on my car, I thought it was the fuel evap error but when I took it in for the recall they pulled the code and it was something to do with the catalytic converter efficiency failure. I have the exact code ill edit into here later.
They cleared the code and this weekend I went on a 600 mile round trip to visit home with NO cel the entire time. Today I was driving back to work after lunch sitting at a light and the CEL pops up again. Main note: my cat is not stock, its the Rotary Performance SuperCAT I've had installed for about 6 months.
My question is: what could be causing the sudden "cat efficiency failure" when ive been running fine for months and months? Is the RP SuperCat failing? is my 02 sensor going bad? My car runs and feels like a champ and I don't favor the idea of "just getting used" to a CEL 24/7.
Any input you guys (and girls) might have would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I originally had the SR Motorsports midpipe. The cat basically fell apart on me after 20k miles. I switched to the RP Supercat after that and haven't had any issues (granted, I have only had it on for about 10k miles). If the SR cat failed, it's not unbelieveable for the RP cat to fail as well. The O2 sensor is a possibility as well.

I've put about 20K on my RP Supercat. I think I was one of the very earliest buyers of that part, actually. Anyway, I've never had a CEL. I say definitely take it to RP.
