OEM Floor Mats

I have a 2005 titanium gray rx8. It has red/black leather interior.

When i bought it, it didnt come with any floor mats in the front/back.

I googled "Mazda rx8 oem floor mats", and got hundreds of different mats and I do not know which ones my 8 came with. Does any one know what mats/have a link for which mats actually came with the 2005 red/black interior rx8s?

Thanks, If you dont know its cool, was just wondering cause I do want some floor mats that will actually match.

I would get in touch with a Mazda dealer that sells parts online, and ask them.

Thanks all,

Bought a set from rosenthal's site like you suggested. The OEM all-weather rubber ones seem nice. Deff need the protection once winter rolls around. Thanks again!

not so much. mine worn a hole under the clutch after just a month.
the seller sent me a new set for free (how nice!). I am thinking rivitting a piece of aluminum onto the mat under the clutch.

Hmmm. I've got a set of OEM all-weathers, and after almost six years they don't show any signs of wear.

I do take my spikes or crampons off before I drive, though.

My oem mats have the word "RX-8" written on it. This is how you would know if its authentic or not.

Unfortunately there's not many other options for fitted rubber RX8 mats. I frequently buy Weathertech floor liners for my vehicles, but they are not offered for the RX8.

What better way that to send a product request to WeatherTech to make them make a FloorLiner for the MT RX-8. Send your request to:

Continue to bug Weathertech for laser fit floor liners for the RX8. Do so by submitting a request at:

Those AVM all-vehicle mats DO NOT WORK. I bought a set for the front and due to that unique long/narrow cut the AVM floor mats hold and dump the water right back on the floor.

Anyone with access to a large 3D printer that could make some nice $$ making a countoured fit version for all of the RX8?

We all would hope that WeatherTech would make the laser fit variety - well worth it for daily drivers. The only other one that currently fits is the OEM.
