Oil Cooler

Oil Cooler
Hi guys. My car was leaking Oil last week so I took it in to Mazda and they called me today and told me that it was the oil cooler lines and told me that it'd would cost roughly $900 for them to replace the lines, gaskets etc...Does that seem steep? Would that be covered in the powertrain warranty? It's an 04 with 65k miles on it.
Thanks in advance for any input.

The price seems very high to me but I don't know.
I do know that it would not be covered.

I had a leak and it was just a gasket, and it was done under warranty so I imagine they only did what was necessary. Before forking over 9 bills I'd have them show you on your car on the lift **exactly** what the problem is, and why whatever parts are absolutely necessary and not just "Well, while we're in there, we might just as well replace this and that...even though all you REALLY need is a gasket, a fitting, or whatever, etc."
I had a dealer (Chrysler) try this when I needed $60 brake pads replaced. They wanted to charge $500 and replace the rotors, do a complete caliper rebuild, AND change the pads ... all at 18K miles no less! I said is all that necessary (to pass inspection)? "Well, no...ahhhh....we just thought ...most people just get them..."
I think that's common when out of warranty.
