Oil drain plug sealing washer?

Oil drain plug sealing washer?
I just dumped my oil for the first time and see no washer on the drain bolt. I did not see one fall off. Is there supposed to be one? The bolt face looks like a sealing surface.

Answer is: make sure you can still get parts if you need to.
I figured it had to have one. There is no way I could have lost it. I watched the bolt carefully taking it off and checked everywhere on the ground and the oil drain pan with no luck. I suspect the dealer lost it doing a prep since the vehicle was driven 178 miles to demo and they serviced it before I took it home. Figures, dealer parts depts are closed for the weekend. Happy ending is I had some crush washers for my old GSXR 750 race bike drain bolt that are fo the same thread diameter. Worked like a charm.

Just finished the first oil change and I didn't see one either. It would have been too big to fit through the holes in my oil drain pan and I felt the oil pan for it and found nothing. It could be on the bolt I guess if its a very very thin washer. It looked like something there but I couldn't get it with my fingernail.
No worries, I see no leaks.
