Oil Weight?
I put a quart of oil in the other day. I picked up a bottle of 10/40 weight which is what I've always used in my cars because of how hot it gets where I live. I've noticed the RX-8 engine seems to get quite hot although my 8 has never gotten close to overheating.
I noticed after reading around that 5/20 weight is recommended for the rotary; is that a minimum or is there some reason why you shouldn't use a higher weight oil? I've never owned a rotary before so I'm not sure if it's the same in that regard as a piston engine.
Any advice from some of you rotary veterans?
