Ok, what RX-8 version is this????

I'm confused. I found this picture on Mazda USA's website (see http://www.mazdausa.com/rx8/innovati....asp?sniffer=1 )

It has the coloured instrument hood, which is supposed to be gone, but its got the seats from the most recent car we've seen (from SevenStock). Its got chrome door pulls/window swich bezel, which I think might have been on the RX-Evolve, but never made it to the yellow RX-8, but this isn't the Evolve. The Evolve never had the door striker bolts/top door latch as I pointed out on the picture.
So, is this a photoshopped Evolve to make the seats/steering wheel look like the current car?

Grimace,
I think that is the first RX-8, the one after the EVOLV but before the yellow RX-8.

I'm talking about this car: Look closely at the style of the wheels. You can also more clearly see the cockpit, rear lights, etc on the 2nd photo.

Ah yes, you're right. Thanks!
(Although they did change the colour of the seats, probably via photoshop).

note how they very carefully placed and cropped the pic so you don't see the hood vents. this is part of what is pissing me off. that page is a mish mosh full of chopped old pics, cut and pasted info and a few new things( very few). they basically just changed the look and threw some new bits here and there. i know they are trying to attract new people by making the site flashier but i think that besides those of us that have seen this stuff before, they are misleading people with these pics and old info.
