old "clears" or new
hey guys, trying to figure out which clear corners to get - the old style from rx8strakes, ahem, i mean rotaryfx, or the new style.
i have a sunlight silver and can't decide what looks nicer - kinda leaning toward the new so they will match the headlight lens, (and right now they are cheaper) but any pics of other silver 8's with clears would help.
opinions please!

I've been having the same problem with my WWP lol. Just can't seem to decide what would look better. But since you have SS I think the original ones would look cleaner. I've seen both on the SS, I'll see if I can get pics.

I vote for the old ones.
Some who have the newer style say they look kinda cheap or you'll need to work on them to make 'em look better.
Either way anything is better than amber.
Ain't it pur-dee?

I bought both the assembled and unassembled versions. There were so many glue bubbles in the assembled set that I sold them. I intended to paint-match the unassembled set but the more I looked at them, and the Mazda clears I already have installed, the less I liked the new ones.
I'm sticking with the Mazda clears.

+1 for an unassembled set if anyone goes with the newer non-mazda clear corners. the one set that i have seen that came preassembled needed to be taken apart and cleaned as the lenses were dirty on the inside.

I just got my assembled version today and installed both of them. Both looked like they came straight from the mazda OEM factory!
No glue or bubbles or anything -- They look so sexy 2 with the Super White LED lights i got with them -- Im going to post up some pictures later.
