Among many things, I'm puzzled by the price quote to replace the clutch
If at the end you find out the clutch actually needs replacement, buy the parts from one of the vendors/sponsors in the forum and pay a trusted local mechanic instead. It would be way less than $1,700 that way

I have the OEM intake - filters look new. I know, I would do the clutch myself and/or go to a shop that I know - only reason I go to Mazda is because I did not know of any good shops in town where I go to college and I would only trust Mazda wit a rotary engine.
Nonetheless the clutch is not a big deal - I drove back from school today, it was going good - made me "happy" until I went home, dropped stuff off, and head to work - where the problem of my car just DIEING while in neutral happened - again.
It is weird, I go to give it gas when at a light, and I see the RPMs not even go up, but drop to 500 - then die. This happened twice on the way to work, once I waited the second time I made sure I was above 2k RPM, threw it into first, then quick to second and it carried me to work - hopefully I can make it home after my car "cools down" and I get out of work?
I think my engine is **** honestly, this car is just full of problems - thank god for my extended warranty.

Here are some of the various start-up sounds, note that I don't think any of these are "hot" starts - which are 5x worst than the worst video. Also I apologize for any of my friends being idiots in the backgrounds:
^^ probably the worst video I captured
Also note, ever since i got a "carbon clean out" as that is what Mazda suggested due to "misfires" it has been slowly getting worst and worst.

Anyone know if those start-ups are considered 'bad' or normal?
Also, in regards to my car "shutting off" I determined it is ONLY when I drive my car "all" day - for example that day I had been driving it for a few hours on and off. Though, when I drove to go home (2+ hours away) it did it again - so it only happens when driving at long periods of time, could this be the ECU over heating or something electronic?
