I was on the way to work thinking about this actually.
This popped into my head since there wasn't anything good on the radio. I went to the Chicago Auto Show last week and saw the new Evo X. Trying to find a good photo angle, I noticed that someone had keyed the left front fender really bad. What kind of idiot hater would do such a thing at a function classier than HIN? Probably some punk kid Sunfire owner who lost several battles to Evo's and other cars out of his league, speaking in general.
So that's what I'm deducing it to. You avoid a race by ignoring the jackass. He revs and whether you antagonize him or not when he takes off in a blind fury. The jackass is still embarrassed since you leisurely accelerate and he's getting the evil eye from everyone else. Jackass finds your car one day and you get keyed. OR the guy just simply loses to you since you know you could take him.
Just a theory.

My favorite one is Tokyo Drift. Eventhough the story line is not as solid as the first one's, the actors fit in their roles very well (age-wise). I like that the main characters are highschoolers and 20 something dudes.
Vin diesal and Paul Walker are a bit too old to play the characters in street racing sence. 30 something dudes streetracing is just wrong!! :P haha! no offense!

LOL OK you wait for the GREEN light and simply DON'T RACE...I know I know HARD CONCEPT but seriously what do you have to gain? We get about 12 mpg city driving if you are lucky...and chances are it'll be a Civic or a Ford Focus that will be the ***** sniffer that will come up w/his leaky nose wanting to go at it not knowing that a FART can and a CAI will not give you HUGE HP gains.
OR the other scenario is...
GRENN light punch the gas....win the race and potentially get caught by a cop for speeding on a public road get a fat ticket or get arrested and possibly have your car taken away and end up grabbing your ankles as "BUBBA" greeses his peaker w/the grit and crud that is in your hide as he PC's you hard core and tells you to call yourself Nancy as he is nailing you pretty good.
The choice is yours...chose wisely.
