I'm sure I could "Search" this but as we all should know Audio componants become obsolete the moment you buy them just like a PC. I know I can't really change my "deck" if you will and hell to be honest I like it, but thing is I can already feel the limitation in the stock speakers.

I have a '04 without the Bose system, dont get me wrong the system is nice but I'm used to a bit of bass and well refinement in my sound. My first car (like everyone) I put in a killer system and by the end of it all my stereo system cost more than I paid for the car. People still comment on how they miss that system (not the car ewww shitty dodge aries). Had Boston Ac. 3" speakers in the front, Kenwood 6" in the rear a Rockford Fosgate(sp?bah its late) 2 10" subs and a 150 watt amp, along with a JVC head unit, thing was tuned to near damn perfection.

Anyways any suggestions on making my Rx-8 sound as good as my old system, as in Clear as hell with Trebble and kicking with Bass? Thinking of getting a single JL Sub in the trunk, friends are telling me custom box but I'm hoping someone will say they have or someone has a hidden compartment box. But any other suggestions will be taken.

I went through many different options on my 8 from MB Quartz to Diamond and a few others but bang for your buck the new Alpine line is the way to go.. I have a complete setup in my car and I have won several awards for it
