exactly the reason why i'm hoping someone on this forum can go see the car and check it out and test drive it. that way i know whether it's in good condition or not, rather than driving there 5 hours and 5 hours back to check if it's in good shape. and if it's not, then those 5 hours driving back won't be very pleasant.

ok ill shoot over my opinion, personally i would drive an 04 because starting in 05 they tried to 'better' the engine and little stuff, therefore some of it didnt fair as well as the 04 models, so the 04 models last pretty long, and since i live around here, i have been dealing with the dealership for a while and had first test drove an rx8 from them back in 06 and it was amazing and what started my love for rx8's, they are a great dealership(i look their cars over carefully when i am there-the ones i am interested in of course) they are very friendly and helpful, i have never heard of any problems with the dealership nor have i had bad experiences, that being said....i personally would go with the 04 bb manual, i almost bought a red mica auto and when i test drove it they arent fast(the paddle shifters are fun!) but it just felt too slow for my taste, i drive a blue 6sp, and im glad i got it! i can run over to the dealership tomorrow and test drive the black one and check it over (i have been in the auto industry going on 4 years now) so i will be able to tell if anything is wrong....i know this was a long paragraph but hey....sorry lol

hey i drove by there just this thurs and fri and did not see the car sitting on the lot both times, it could have been in the garage getting serviced or on a test drive, but i did see a white one sitting out there, so idk what you would want to do, the reason i did not go check inside is because i was riding with someone and was not able to stop, ill be up in that area next wed, if you still want me to check, i am selling my rx8 if you have any interest lol its blue....not black lol, but manual!

New to the Forum. But, saw this and had to comment
In my opinion I think that you should choose the BB over the Titanium Gray. I have a Brilliant Black and I love it. Personally I think that it's the best looking color on the 8 (Other than Lightning Yellow) Also 7k less miles for 500 less and Navi seems nice. However that is just appearance.. One thing I think you should truly consider is NOT buying an AT. I did and it is without a doubt the biggest mistake of my life. 2 of my friends have MT and everytime I go for a ride in their 8's I regret it more than anything. Without a doubt you will still have fun in an auto 8 but your not experiencing the REAL fun of the 8 unless you get the Manual Transmission. (Not to mention in your case the 35 HP difference). So my suggestion would be that if you were to choose from only these two than get the Brilliant Black but, If you can wait and your willing to purchase a Manual,Without a doubt you should get one.
I'm telling you this from going through it myself.
4 speed automatic 197 HP (or if 06' 212 HP) < 6sp MT 232 HP Your in control, and you have ALOT more fun.
