I didnt want to open a new thread so I have a question. Ive been doing my research on FI and im pretty much done on it I believe, it helps to use to have a FI car lol. This can possibly be my prebuild thread lol.
Now I have a question for the air pump. I realized that its for emissions purposes and it connects to the manifold stock? Then with the turbo installed it connects to the downpipe? Just for clarification.
Now I was reading MM's install guide for his turbo upgrade and he removes the whole assembly, would this cause me to fail emissions? I can get away with visual inspection as long as I can have a tune conservative enough to pass emissions.

The air injection is to warm up the cat and get it working faster when the car is cold. It wont effect tail pipe emissions once warm. If you can get a smog tech to to overlook the turbo, the missing are injection wont matter.
