i have a black rx8 and was thinking of powder coating the factory rims. i need some opinions: chrome or hyperblack

 

i was thinking of doing the same thing with chrome, but was wondering wat they would look like if i actually did it.

if you end up coating them in chrome then please post a pic

I know I've seen some pictures of the RX with chrome...

I believe it is under the multimedia section but I would do a search just in case.

When I first saw the RX, I was very disappointed that it didn't have chrome rims but now that I've had some time to think about it, I don't think I would want them after all. The current rims have really grown on me...

 

I love the factories! I love the size and the design. But my 8, is black on black, and the only color that really stands out is the chrome finishings. I'm not all about the bling, but I would like to dip the factory rims in chrome. IMHO it would be just one feature to an already beautiful car.

 

Chrome doesn't look bad at all. Mine are not the stock rims but you can see what they look like:
