Outside Temperature

Outside Temperature
My 8 recently came back from the shop for a dead battery and a bad starter. A few days after getting it back, the outside temperature stopped showing up. Everything elso is there, it is just blank where the temperature should be. I was pushing buttons resetting everything because of the dead battery, so I am not sure if I turned it off. If I did, I'll be damned if I can figure out how to get it back. I miss it!
Any suggestions?

Just press the little "AMB" (short for AMBient temperature) button on the far right of the information display. (If you hold it in for 2 seconds, it'll switch from farenheit to celcius or back.)

Yeah. Mine got turned off when it was in the shop last spring getting my hood worked on. I at first thought possibly something was disconnected, so I started reading. I pushed that button and it came back.

Another suggestion - rummage around in your glove box, trunk, pass-through and so forth until you find the little book that came with your car. It's a novel about a Spanish guy named Manuel. He knew many interesting things about cars - it's a good read.

If your battery is getting weak and you want to turn stuff off that eats juice while you are trying to start - this is a good one, also display, also heating for seats...
