Owner for almost a month....what Ive done so far

First thread : "https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=214202"

Maintenance:
Royal Purple 5w30 oil change
Redline MT90 transmission oil/75w90 differential (Shifting feels so much smoother!)
Idemitsu premix

Performance:
Axial Flow Short shifter - night and day difference. The stock shifter is better than most but i can not stand the feel of stock shifters.

Been ordered but still waiting delivery:
BHR ignition
BHR midpipe
Mazdamaniac cobb accessport (should be here by Friday)

Interior:
No aux port solution - BTC8 A2DP Bluetooth fm transmitter - works like a charm. No static issues, much much less hassle than trying to install an aux port.

Near Future: AEM CAI unless swayed into another intake but this seems to be the "best" option from reading through the forum.

Future: Which one first, Exhaust or coilovers (Stance)?

So far I've put on around 865 miles on her

Oh, and then buy me stuff cause you seem to have monies :D
I was thinking of going the shocks and springs setup as well. That's what i did to my 240, was better than getting cheap coilovers. I need to read up more on that issue but im leaning towards coilovers. And nope, all my money just goes into the car haha.

Minimal power gains and slightly better throttle response. Also, ill probably get flamed for this but sound as well. From what I've read so far a CAI probably serves the same amount of performance gains as an exhaust at a much lower cost. I'll probably eventually have both, it's just a matter of which one comes first.

no time wasted at all! That's a nice list you have there.
If coilovers, don't go cheap!

I'd say coilovers. Sounds like the mod bug has gotten to you.

Taking care of the car the right way. I'll say coilovers first, then exhaust.

Naahhh, no reason to flame ya cause ya want a diff sound lol
And yeah good enough reason for me, I was just curious. I'm too used to takin the "save for turbo and cooling mods" route :p

Personally I'm waiting for the BHR catback before I make that decision. Sounds good but they haven't had any updates on it lately so who knows.
