That looks amazing! What a great idea for personalization and looks. Are you going to strake too. That is perfect on the black.

I think it looks great, I am going to do the same thing to match my polished wheels.

Thumbs down You asked for it

I think the silver makes the vent stand out a little too much. It's not the most interesting design cue of the RX-8, but with the silver your eyes are pulld to them (almost missing the good looking lady in your avatar).

On a silver car maybe, but not the darker colors.

I agree, I think that it is too "strong" of a difference from the rest of the car, and the location/shape/orientation of it interrupts the visual flow of the car.

yeah, i agree with Elak and Sputnik

think the silver is a little to bright for the black, maybe if you had like, chrome wheels or something, but right now its really the only bright/strongly reflective thing on the car, maybe you could have gone a red or something?

Thumbs up

I think it stands out but looks good, I like it!

I don't think you need the strakes, now that you did this, I think you just saved yourself a pile on the strakes.

Do you have to reach under the wheel well? How do you get to the clips? I got some wax in mine I need to get out.

i think you did a wonderful job! personally, i wouldn't do it, noting the above responses as they do definitely stick out a lot more now...i don't think you should get strakes with them being silver like that...i think it's either silver no strakes or natural with strakes...good job though! looks a lot better with the clear blinkers
