Alright so today I walk outside looking for something and I look at my car and I notice a what seems to be a white mark on the car. Im thinking great bird poop... As I get closer I realise its not bird poop but a nice chip on the caR! Man I am pissed.... then I look further down and there are small scratches right under the window!!!! I am tired of the nonsense and bullshit I have had to deal with my car. The trunk is screwed up with a ridiculous amount of scratches from ********, my doors are scratched everywhere from people rubbing against my car and just plain old idiots scratching it with who knows what. Then I find what seems to be a shitty key job on my car or I don't know what. There are 4 small slashes on the back left side of the car over the wheel area. Then some idiot accidentally spit on my car apologized to me and wiped it off with printer like paper!! AHH RETARD!!! I start screaming at him as he just scratched the hell out of my car... So I have over 30 noticeable scratches on my new 2005 BB rx8. ends rant.

I knew early in his post it was a black 8. Black seems to have the ability to magnify scratches,dings etc..

 

invest in a car cover for parking it over night.

 

The poor thing seems to be affected by that darned curse, except it's not the right color.

I think I may have just discovered the reason I dread parking. It's all the idiots that end up near you!!!

I feel your pain. check up some of my old posts about hate crimes. I've had a share of them too. The best thing to do it either park in a closed in area, or as mentioned, cover your car and lock the cover on.

when you park in public, its a total toss up. In my experience, haters will be haters. IE - if you park far away people will key you because they'll think that you think yur so much better then everyone else (rather you are, or not). If you park with everyone else, yur just as subject to the next car to door dings and morons pulling in too close and hooking your paint with their front bumper.

It's a guessing game. Not to sound harsh, but with a nice car...get used to it.

New york long island is where I live. Unfortunately I cannot do anything about the car. I got screwed with a bad job this summer and im going back to college now. The car is staying home since I will not be able to afford anything for it. I have to find a job this year save up and have a full and complete detail done to the car. No my car is 100% stock, I will post pics of it tomorrow.

where are you located sir?? i had some asswhipe scratch my car it was street cleaning hours and i was double park for 10 mins i jut had to drop a shirt to my mother so she can press it for me and thats all it took the good part is that the guy lives on my building, and i made him pay me for it, he ended paying for every scratch on my back bumper too

 

Bensonhurst. is it deep enough to clip your nails when you run your nail over it? if it does check if its down to the primer/metal. or some pics? i only do detailing, no touch up painting.

where i park there are so many nicer cars around, i guess 'they' dont notice my lil' ol' rx-8.

 

Where I park at work there are REALLY nice cars that belong to the doctors and some of the administrators and then there are some REALLY horrible cars that belong to people like the housekeeping staff. Most of the cars are in the relatively new range (within the last few years) and in a moderate price range but not anything too expensive.

 

The problem with our car is that it looks more expensive than it actually is. People look at it and immediately think, 'It's a sports car, therefore it's expensive'. Doesn't help that the RX-8 looks so distinctive even compared to other sports cars.

 

Maybe someone doesn't like you or you need to watch where you park.
