Talking planning to buy an 8

i am planning to buy an 05 rx8 this winter. should i go for a GS or GT?
what are the differents? any big problems with the 05 engine? since the 04 always flooding. thx.

GS??? No major problems for the 05 engine. The flooding issue has been fixed by the current flashes.

but GS has no TSC and DSC right? would it be a problem to drive on snow?

There are quite a few cars on the road without any driving aids (TCS, DSC), and they are just fine in the snow. The problem with the rx-8 is that the stock tires arent that great when the white stuff falls from the sky. If you put a decent set of winter tires on it, it will be just fine.

if you have never drived a RWD car in the snow you should get a little pratice of what to do when the rear end slides out in the first snow fall, try a empty parking lot late at night, and you should be fine.

Also it will be a little easier to get stuck not as bad as some RWD cars becasue the good weight distruction but worse then a FWD car, it's funny a few days ago on my way to work I saw 2 cars that could not make it up a hill by my house, one infiniti and one lexas both RWD with a slight front weight balance, its also possible they didnt know how to turn the traction control off
