Plastidipped wheels!

I dipped my wheels today and gotta say.. Turned out great! It was easy to do and dried quickly. Also dipped my emblems to match. Took around 4 hours and 5 cans of dip

go on dipyourcar.com and buy 1-2 cans of the pearlizer to give the white that triple stage look with metallic flakes in the paint..

then buy 1-2 cans of glossifier to put on top.

Came out really good, I did mine in Black and I was really impressed with it. They still held up (8 months now or so) and the only problem is a little curbed part peeling off on the passenger side wheel. Which I enjoy since it isn't curbing the rim up, just the dip, at which I can just respray and touch up

Yup I already put on about 3 coats of the metalizer on which made it look really pearly in person. And yes I also added the glossifier. Dip done right!

How long has your dip lasted?

Looks great! Would you say one can per wheel would work?

Yes one can per wheel should work fine. And the white looks good on the red!

I painted mine inside out so it took me 6 cans, 1 full on the face and half a can on the inside. However I am one of the very few that run 20s so i have more rim to cover

I did mine in flat black and left it at that. My driveway is mostly dirt so every rain storm it splashes crap all over them. I find a quick brush off with the brush from a snow scraper does wonderfully. It doesnt scratch and the flat black doesn't really show dirt anyway.
