I am new to the club and I am trying to find out when my car was born. Can anyone help me? Where can I find this info?
Also, I've only had my 8 for like 5 days and I already got a couple of small (really small) nicks in my front air dam approx. 2 of them. Aint that terrible? Does any one know if the touch-up paint from the mazda dealer will hide these? They are not noticable unless you are looking for them.
Thanks for any input,
Robert

Hello and welcome to this great site! Here's how you find information you're looking for ==>
- It's helpful to others if you put an applicable subject reference in your thread title. You are more likely to get helpful responses to your post if they know what you're post is about and can offer a word of advice.
- Try doing a search for keywords such as 'chips' 'nicks' 'chip repair' etc for other discussions relating to this topic. Here are some to get you started: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ht=chip+repair and https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ht=chip+repair .
- In doing a Search for Manufacture Date I found this thread: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...nufacture+date which says the manufacture date is on a sticker inside the driver door.

I've used the Velocity Red touchup paint and it works great. For us early buyers we got a bunch of cool gifts from Mazda; one of them was this huge steering-wheel shaped box in the mail and when you opened it there was a small bottle of paint nestled inside, matched to the color of our cars. Classy touch; I've only had to use it once.
