glad to see she came out of the ICU ok. I stained my pillow every night with tears of dispair over such a catastrophic event. Did she live like she was dying?

Engine is running very well. Smooth as silk. I'd forgotten that at idle you shouldn't be able to feel the engine running. If you don't listen for it you can't tell its running. I haven't pushed it any, following the break in recommendations.

800 miles on the new engine now. Running well. Getting about 40 miles to a tank better mileage. Interesting. Still haven't driven it hard yet for break in but beginning to push into higher revs now.

Ordered Idemitsu 10-30 and premix. Just arrived. Premixed for the first time today. Had always used 5-20 every 3000 miles and only made it to 26000 before crap out. I'll do it this way for this engine. Downside is 50$ shipping for the oil. Makes it a bit hard to justify. Maybe I can find someone local to order it.
