i wish we had push start but other than that, the keyless is great.
keyless on friends aunts lexus is like ours, walk in, and once in, press a button, instead of turning plastic thingy.
i used to hate having to push in, now im used to it.

I carry mine in the front watch pocket of my jeans , fit perfect. I don't like carring keys either and not having to deal with a big switchblade type is great. Had one with Passat. Also like not having a key hanging from the column or dash. Very cool and I am spoiled too. My $.02 worth

Just a little thread ressurection here as i didnt want to start another thread on this topic. So basically if you have a **** to turn on the car, whats the key for ??? Is there also a hole to turn on the car or just the **** ? I kinda like putting a key in and turning it instead of a **** . Meh

I'll never be able to go back to any other setup after having this.

There is a plastic cap that attaches to the key area. If you take the cap off you can still insert the key and do everything manually. The key is in the CC thing.
This way if you lose the key you can still start the car.
The CC thing works kinda like a EZ pass, when it's near the car you can turn the **** and start it or unlock the doors. The real key is only for emergencies

I love this thing. I hate having things in my pockets but it is so thin I just forget about it there. Also the black switch on the trunk is a nice nice touch. My CC key doesn't seem to be too fond of getting its buttons used, especially the trunk one, so the black hidden button is nice.
And I love just being able to get in and start the car, and just walk away when I turn it off. No fumbling with keys.

I HATE SPEEDBUMPS!
They should bring back the number code beside the door opener. Just if you forgot your keys inside the car, and you don't have the spare keys, then you can open it if you know the code and without the hassle of calling somebody and waiting for them.

Other than that I like it because I keep the card/key in my wallet and as long as I have my purse with me (which I always do) it's just press the button and get in...
Note to self, do not ever leave wallet on passenger seat when grabbing purse... car will LOCK with key inside but not UNLOCK till Pop-a-Lock arrives :-/

Has anyone ever had a problem with it because lately i have to press the black button 3 or 4 times to open the door. Also when I press my buttons the doors don't unlock or lock and I have been having trouble when trying to turn the *** to start the car it wont turn sometime and i have to wait a while a move the sifter and then it turns.

I purchased a holdover 2010 back in November, so I haven't had the card type key in warmer months yet.
I keep the card key in my front pocket.
I voted "yes", but we'll see how I feel about carrying in front pocket when warmer months start (shorts weather).

@ MissCB25: There must have been a change in the S2 smart key system because on my car its damn near impossible to lock the key inside of the car.
My only two complaints:
1. I cant lock the doors from the outside with the car running. This would be great if I wanted to run into a convenience store real quick and leave the car running. Or more importantly when I'm leaving home, realize I forgot something after I started the car. Now I cant shut the car back off right away (might flood), so I have to leave the car running outside unlocked as I run (literally!) back inside. Im always worried Im going to come back outside and my car will be gone. Also it would be nice to be able to let the car warm up while Im in the house on cold mornings.
2. The annoying door chime when you leave the door open with the ignition turned to aux. This might not be specific to the smart key system. This makes it almost impossible to leave the stereo on while Im cleaning the car.
