Gas down here is $3.07 a gallon. And you are aware that it takes PREMIUM.
If it's something you think will fit in the budget ,DO IT. You will love the car.
I drive 72+ miles a day , and fill up every other day.

I would say that if you're going to buy the 8, you have to just forget about what you're paying for gas. If you're always worrying about mileage, you're never going to drive it hard, and that's where the fun is. Me, I made the conscious decision when I bought the car that gas would be whatever gas would be, and I was going to pay whatever it was and not worry about it. I have deliberately never even calculated what I get for mpg. I understand about being an adult and all, but you don't buy a sports car to save gas. You have to just chalk up the gas thing as part of the price of admission. If you're not going to be able to do that, then I'd say that this car isn't for you. But if you are able to do that, the car is a blast.

No one has mentioned that you CANNOT look at the gas gauge and tell how much gas you've used. the 1/4 mark everyone seems hung up on is NOT 1/4 of a tank. I get anywhere from 30-50 miles before I hit that mark, and it depends on the day, and that's definitly not 1/4 or a tank of gas for me since I get between 265-300 miles per tank (which averages to about 13 gallons in a fillup before anyone freaks at me). It has very little relation to the MPG you're going to get.

very typical. As a matter of fact, getting about 18 MPG is on the upper half of most people in this forum. You'd be lucky if it stays up there.
If this really bothers you, take it back and see if they'll let you outta the sale...cause i gaurantee this will eat away at you like it does more than 1/2 the people on this forum.
p.s. - and i haven't had the chance to read if you already bought it (in the last 3 pages). If you did...good job.
