What I did was buying some Rotary Bum premix bottles, cut an empty cereal box in half, then line up the premix bottles in the cereal box and put everything in a trunk organizer with Velcro on the bottom so you can stick it to the trunk mat.
Some trunk organizers have straps for small bottles so you don't even need the cereal box.
Searching for new ideas for a pre-mix kit for my car.
Last year was graduated plastic bolts with Velcro in the trunk. Work fine but the heat got the best of the Velcro adhesive, now they just roll around.
So, please show me what you use and find to be helpful. Thank you.
I just have a 1lt bottle of Lucas 2 stroke secured with the straps where the tire inflation kit would go. Works fine for me. The bottle has measurements on it so not hard to throw in 8oz every fillup. If you want a kit you could go with the Rotary Bum kit but I dont find it necessary.
I run an E30 ethanol mix, and pre-mix Motul Micro 2T 2-stroke oil, and Lucas Injector Cleaner and Fuel Conditioner.
My set-up includes:
- Generic bag
- Long neck funnel
- Two 12oz generic plastic bottles w/ caps (one for the Motul & one for the Lucas)
- E85 testing kit
- Clean rags
My car is a DD, not a track car. My set-up would likely need to be anchored in the trunk, if tracked. At the moment I just keep it in the recessed rectangular well (not as shown here), and it stays put just fine.

I got 6 of the 8-ounce 2-stroke bottles and three fit in each door pocket. I refill them with 8-ounces and dump one in per fill up. It's a lot easier to have a pre-measured amount to dump in than deal with measuring it at the pump.
