The Price for Protection?

Does $104 sound like a good price for Clear bra protaction on both mirrors, headlights and foglights? That is the installed price.

Also I was told by the installer that he would not recommend the front bumber being clear bra'd because the way that it flexes will lead to pits and in 3-4 years time it will look horrible. He said that rather than paying the $700 he would recommend just repainting when the time comes as it is cheaper and easier.

Any input?

In case you haven't seen this thread, this is my experience with VentureShield to date.

https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-discussion-3/no-clearbra-bumper-58675/

The VentureShield has a lifetime warranty against bubbling, cracking or yellowing. It looks great after 3 months. I obviously can't give a long term evaluation. However, most cars have flexible bumpers these days, and if it were a problem, the manufacturer would'nt recommend it on any of them. I think your installer just doesn't want to do your '8, since it is one of the most difficult cars to do.

I got the hole shootin' match - bumper, hood, mirrors, head and fog lights for $500.

Just my $0.02
