Background:
About a month ago, I had Long Beach Mazda replace by front brake pads and turn the rotors. The next day, my friend and I flushed the brake fluid. We noticed that 3 lugs nuts were loose (came off by hand) and the caliper bolt were also loose (one could be undone with your hand). This upset me so the following Saturday I show up and explain the situation. They acknowledge that I was correct and offer to look things over to tighten everything down. During this visit, I tell them I have a problem with my coolant light and I would like it replaced under warranty. They say OK, but come back next week (because there's not enough time today).
So today I bring my 8 in and they replace the sensor/coolant tank. After driving around, I smell the sweet/maple smell of coolant. I look under the radiator and at the radiator and what do you know, coolant is leaking. Now I'm very upset. Twice I've trusted them to work on my car. The first instance was a potentially life threatening problem. This second instance would be an extreme detriment to my 8 had I not caught the leak and added more coolant.
What should I do? I'm pretty worked up right now so I'm having a difficult time thinking rationally.

Find another dealer right now to get the leak fixed. Call up Long Beach Mazda and tell them how unhappy you are with the service. Or you can contact MNAO to tell them about the experience you had with Long Beach Mazda.

sounds very incompetent, but really, what can you do? if i were you, even if they offer to redo everything for free or look things over, i would never trust them to touch the car. the most you can do now is let them know how unhappy you are and maybe log a complaint w/ mnao, then go to a different shop or just do everything yourself

I would say definitely go to another dealer, and 100% file a complaint with Mazda North America, and make sure to tell long beach mazda your going to do so. Also i dont know if that dealer does customer surveys, but if they do tell them your gonna rip them a new one on it. sorry for your troubles.

So I'm just curious, what other Mazda repair shop did you use? I live in Long Beach and have not been impressed with these guys either but I can't find anywhere else that I am feeling warm fuzzies about either. What's a girl to do?
