No it's not. It's considered a four door. At least mine is!
Maybe you are just getting

oh, and also, there are a ZILLION and a half threads about rx-8's insurance cost.......................and guess what..............we don't need another one.

lately is seems the sub-10-post-members are making repetitive threads everywhere...it clogs the system and makes searching a bitch.
I somewhat agree but not everyone wants to look through 80 pages to finally find what their looking for. I dont know if its just me but the search engine could be a little better. I think I am a decent researcher but there is always the temptation of a quick answer. Instead of complaining, maybe you could say to go to certain certain thread, the information is all there. We didnt know that their are guidelines to strictly follow. If its such a big problem than we should be adressed it when we join and maybe the one overseeing the forums can get rid of some of the repeats. I know I am not perfect and I am sure your not too. I do agree with what your saying though but it will never happen. The site will have to be fine tuned if its such a huge problem.

Please see this post! It is in this very thread. It's what I'm going to use for 90% of all newcomers. Then after I post it, I will avoid that thread from pretty much that point on.

I now have it saved as a .txt file, and just cut and paste it in. If they don't wanna go read and learn for themselves, then "F" it.

I've actually gotten a pretty good response from the Noobs on posting it and a few "thanks", including this OP.
Overall, I do agree with 2Tone though...............it's really, really aggravating!

I just wish we could have temporary threads for quick questions. I dont know maybe we do. I am not sure but if someone starts a thread, cant they erase it? I understand the frustration. I wish repeats could be deleted and I know I have helped in threads that are repeats. Sorry, but when I see a question and think I have advice, than Im all over it feeling like I might help a cause.

Me as well.....but..........I also try and teach them how to do it on their own.
"Yes", sometimes I am an @ss about it and "yes", the search sucks, but advanced search works okay(not perfect).
Oh................yes, the original OP that started the thread and delete it.

I could go off on a social commentary here about "instant gratification" nowdays and the younger generation having this "I don't want to learn it for myself, I just want the answer" attitude, but that in itself would be a re-post. (ha ha)

Anyways............let's let the thread get back on track. We won't solve it here.

Then what is your definition of a forum? This section specifically.

I have seen many different thoughts/ problems about this car and i wanted specifically my questions answered, as i cannot find a direct answer to what i want to know.

Can you confirm that, and if it also applies to Canadian Insurance as well (if your wife can find out or knows already).

o.k. I said I would talk to the wife about insurance and I am not going to bother seeing if its already been posted elsewhere since its bed time. She said the main factors on insurance prices are your credit history, your age, if you have other insurance through the same company for discounts, driving record but some companies dont factor that as much, if your younger its factored in if you are single or married. Single hikes the price for younger drivers. Depending on your insurance company, young may be 25yrs or less. She said the 2dr or 4 dr doesnt really factor in but she cant remenber but thought my car was written under 4 door. She said the one that gets us is the fact that it is written up as a high performance vehicle. Also when they run the vin, the color might factor in supposively. Red is higher for speeding tickets and white is higher since they say they are harder to see and prone to get hit. Hope that helps.
