Proud new daddy... er, owner.
Greetings, netizens. I've been lurking here for a while without posting, as I didn't feel justified in doing so without owning; all my pre-purchase questions were pretty thoroughly answered in other threads. However, I just remedied that "not an owner" part a few minutes ago. Just finished buying my 8. Yellow, M6, sport package, appearance pkg, rotary accents, spoiler. Driving a Tribute loaner until they can pick my car up from another dealer and get it through make-ready. I just have to hope none of my friends see me driving around in an SUV. The horror. =oP Still, it's a great way to start off my vacation.
Anyway, just wanted to get the bow-ins out of the way, and say that I'm very pleasantly impressed by the activity and knowledge in this forum on so young an automobile. I sold a '98 Trans Am to buy my 8, and the LS-1/F-body forums tooks years to get to this activity level. Good to know there's an instantly-available resource like this already established and active.
