This thread serves no purpose other then to further add to the conversation, hence, lingering it ON AND ON AND ON. We all are entitled to our complaints, opinions and dislikes, and if you don't like the complaints, IGNORE IT. All this does is stir things up, and add fuel to the fire. The EPA sticker for almost all of us is a LIE. If that bothers you, why not complain, and express that they should change it to 14-20, 15-21 or 16-22, not 18-24. Let me start a new thread. I'll call it. STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT YOUR CAR PERIOD, EVEN IF IT FLOODS OR GETS 12MPG!!! Ok, now that I expressed my opinion, FLAME ON BROTHAS!!!

I think it's because Mazda doesn't have a choice. The EPA is the one doing it but they've recently come under fire for being untrue. I think AAA has called them out for being flat out too high.

Now the big thing is while a lot of cars are mislabeled, the 8 has this insanely huge variation on gas mileage. Some people literally get 12mpg grandma driving. Some people "can't get UNDER 17mpg" and usually get 19mpg driving how they feel like. What's the cause of this? If it's not driver error (which seems unlikely in at least some of the cases) then Mazda should figure out how to fix it. If it's not that expensive of a fix, I wouldn't mind paying it even.

But yeah I think these threads are good every now and then. Lets the people who don't get good mileage let off some steam. :D
