i am about to go look at a 04 RX-8 at a lot and i was wondering how you can tell it has LSD or not. other then lanching it hard. cause it is rainning out. is that a Code or something. i know GM has opintion codes on there cars but i don't know if mazda does.

 

i just found a online brochure for 2004 found out as long as it is a 6-speed it has LSD and a CF driveshaft

 

all rx8s have an LSD

 

base auto's do not

 

At least with Miatas, you could call Mazda with the VIN and they'd tell you all the options. I'd expect the same for the RX8.
