It belongs to a guy named Chris that owns a carpet company and it's his daily ride save for a carpet van I guess
AMS also had their new time attack car in the works while I was there and it will be competing at One Lap of America this year. If they can manage to not break something I think the competition is in trouble. Though Ronald Adee had just placed an order for some custom parts from AMS, I don't think he'll be in an Evo this year, but it will be something sickeningly fast as usual.

That is sweet..... so what is your goal for you ride? Also chris wouldn't happen to be in Orlando, would he? 900whp is insane........ Chris better watch out because there are a few c6,c5 vettes here in Orlando tuned by Vinci vettes that are producing over 1000whp. Streetable as well...... man it must be nice to have extra $$$ like that to put into your ride.
Don't know if you seen the ligenfelter C6 vette that was producing over 1200WHP, it broke the dyno! There is a video of it somewhere on the net! These C6 vettes are becoming like the 90's supras, the potential is there to make ungodly amounts of HP!

Up front disclosure: I'm not a muscle car guy or a street racer, and my automotive savvy is limited.
Nonetheless, for me my 8 has more than enough power, and I can't imagine that, for most people, more power than the 8 has would make much difference anyway unless you are street racing.
Let's be realistic. If you live in a city of any appreciable size, the only place that you can use any speed at all is on the highway, unless you're willing to risk running red lights and stop signs (and killing the occassional pedestrian).
So, if you really want to let your car loose, you'll probably be on the highway. With traffic. Lots and lots of traffic. Which means that you can't just wind it up and let it go in a straight line.
So how do you go fast? You manuever around the traffic. Which requires what? Good handling! Something that the 8 has in spades. Does a mustang have more power? Yes. Can it get from point A to point B faster than an RX-8 on something other than a track or drag strip? I doubt it.
Oh yeah, it will also go 90 mph in third gear.
